Arsenal are on a high after their 1-0 win over Wolves on Thursday. A first-half strike from centre back Gabriel was enough for the Gunners to hold on as Wolves mounted a testing second half which also saw Arsenal go down to 10 men.
Centre-back Ben White was instrumental in ensuring that the club pulled through with a win and the clean sheet. After the full-time whistle, the Englishman took his shirt off while celebrating with the travelling fans and also took to Instagram with photos of the same.
The pictures have definitely turned plenty of heads and have had fans talking about the intricate lion tattoo on the player’s upper torso.
The lion tattoo is an extremely popular choice amongst footballers with stars such as Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Memphis Depay having sported it in the past. However, these were done on the players’ backs unlike White’s which has been inked on his chest.
But not all reactions for the massive lion tattoo were in awe as Emile Smith Rowe seized the opportunity to exchange some friendly banter with his Arsenal teammate. ESR had no time for White showing off his physique and the tattoo as he wrote – “bro take that shirt off one more time I dare u”.
The youngster’s cheeky remark has blown up the comments section on White’s post on Instagram.
In his short time at the club, White has managed to win over the hearts of numerous Arsenal fans with his personality and attitude both on and off the field. Undoubtedly, he has ESR to thank for assisting him on this particular occasion off the pitch.
