Kell Brook’s clash with Amir Khan at the Manchester Arena certainly saw a healthy attendance from footballers. Phil Foden, Edinson Cavani and Jordan Pickford are to name a few footie stars spotted at the boxing bout.
The Everton man certainly seemed to have had a fun time at the event perhaps more so after the fight interacting with fans. One fan was spotted trying to rile up Pickford by asking him if his club Everton were going to be relegated from the Premier League this season.
Languishing in away in the 16th spot on the table just two points away from the relegation zone, the prospect of losing out on top-flight football is very real for the Merseyside Blues.
However, Pickford was in no mood to take prisoners at the Manchester Arena as he returned the fan’s dig with some of his own medicine.
“Everton getting relegated?”

“Eh?”
“Everton getting relegated?”
“Eh?”
“Everton getting relegated?”
“Parrot” 🦜
Jordan Pickford everybody 👏😭 pic.twitter.com/ULoovRihRq
Having set up the punchline by making the fan repeat the same phrase thrice, the England goalkeeper swiftly attacked the almost mechanical repetition of the question, calling him a “parrot” before walking away.
The end of the clip also reveals it to be a Liverpool fan who was responsible for the attempt and it would only be fitting for it to be a Merseyside beef in Manchester.
It seems that getting owned by Pickford was not the last time the Kopite got trolled by an Everton personality on the night as another clip showed former professional boxer and Everton fan Tony Bellew having a go at him after the fan provoked him.

Everton fans have certainly shown their appreciation for Pickford and Bellew for defending the club with the classic responses. They would also be hoping for their keeper to hit top form to aid Frank Lampard’s men in avoiding the big drop to Championship.
