The footballing world is slowly getting to see the best version of Antonio Conte’s Tottenham with the only thing missing being consistent with their performances.

As per Sky Sports, over Conte’s nine league games, Spurs have scored at least two goals in six of those. Prior to his arrival, Tottenham had scored more than once in just two of their first 10 games. Moreover, Spurs have also scored 17 goals under Conte, averaging 1.9 goals per game which is more than twice the ratio registered in the 10 games before his appointment.

With the addition of new signings such as Dejan Kulusevski and Rodrigo Bentancur, Conte has been able to get the most out of the Spurs attack even on occasions when their reliable main men, Kane and Son have been having a quiet night.

But against Leeds, even they had an enjoyable outing with Kane getting onto the scoresheet before assisting Son for the 4th Spurs goal of the night which also helped them surpass the Premier League record for most goal combinations by a duo.

The goal had even centre-back Cristian Romero pumped for the squad as he was spotted pulling Son’s hair that too quite harshly in the team huddle for the celebration.

It did look to be a painful celebration to be on the receiving end of as fans seem to be suggesting, especially after an exhilarating moment as scoring off a quick counter. But on the other hand, this is exactly the kind of energy that we have come to expect and witnessed out of a Conte team.

Perhaps Son wouldn’t mind Romero’s antics in the long run if this energy is shared by the rest of their teammates alongside their Italian coach who would now be hoping for such confident results with more consistency.
