Following up on the leaked Liverpool home kit for the 2022/23 season, images have now emerged online of what is reportedly the Reds’ third kit for the forthcoming season.
In a departure from the themes of this season’s kits, the leak showcases darker shades and a rather unique pattern.
If true, the latest offering from sponsor American sportswear brand Nike looks to be an intriguing one.

Officially the shades are said to be “Dark Atomic Teal/Rio Teal/Siren Red”, and the kit itself offers a dark contrast as compared to the current season’s 3rd kit.
As the name entails, the base of the shirt is a dark teal shade, with a unique thread-like design running all over it.
At the centre, the print displays horizontal threats, whereas, they are strewn about in a random manner right below. These designs are present on the back of the shirt as well.
The sponsor logos are Red in colour, with neon-like accents.
The club crest and the iconic Liverbird also follow suit and are featured using similar Red accents. Thematically, the contrasting colours of the inky teal shade and neon red blend well together, leading to a clean presentation.
The opinion was shared by many Liverpool fans online and the kit was largely received positively, especially when a graphic designer photoshopped an image of defender Virgil van Dijk in the new leaked kit.

It was also viewed as a breath of fresh air when compared to the rather rudimentary design put forward in the home kit leaks.
Nevertheless, if true, Nike might have another hit on their hands.
