Toby Collyer: The latest Man United signing to give off early Justin Bieber vibes

Over the last decade, Manchester United has been able to boast about the production of many talented names produced from their own academy.

Some such as Marcus Rashford, Scott McTominay, Anthony Elanga have broken through into the first team while others such as Shola Shoretire and Hannibal Mejbri look promising recruits currently playing for the youth team.

United also have a talented bunch of youngsters who have gone out on loan to develop into first-team quality such as James Garner, who is currently at Nottingham Forrest and Brandon Williams who is at Norwich City.

Finally, alongside the homegrown boys, the club has also not shied away from purchasing talents for the youth team as well, with the likes of Amad Diallo securing a £37m move from Italian club Atalanta.

Following suit with this style of recruitment for the future, United finalized the signing of talented midfielder Toby Collyer from Brighton.

Collyer who has captained England’s youth side in the past has signed a three-and-a-half-year contract according to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano.

While the signing has been appreciated by United fans, it has also been spotted that there seems to be a pattern emerging where the club’s youth players all share the same kind of hairstyle.

Players such as James Garner, Brandon Williams and Collyer himself all sport the same trim that hides the hairline.

This has had fans comparing the trims to that of Canadian singer and celebrity Justin Bieber’s former hairstyle that the star popularized during his own younger days.

The similarity surely cannot be a coincidence as this seems to be a trend becoming increasingly popular amongst youth team players at the club.

United fans would be hoping that it is not just the trim that these youngsters share amongst themselves but also their abilities as talented footballers which would be vital for the club’s endeavours in the near future.
