Sean Dyche throwing a night out as Ben Mee takes the Burnley hotseat

Sean Dyche throwing a night out as Ben Mee takes the Burnley hotseat

The impact of Sean Dyche’s astounding sacking from Burnley continues to settle in.

Many have had their say, and almost everyone is baffled at the club’s decision. Peculiarly, despite going down as a legend in Burnley folklore, Dyche received no farewell message from the club following the dismissal.

Harsh, to say the least.

Fortunately, the 50-year-old looks to be using his free time to the fullest, as these images reveal.

The Englishman was spotted by fans at a live music venue, Rock City in Nottingham. He appeared to be in high spirits and enjoyed a jolly evening filled with tunes alongside Nottingham Forest’s first-team coach, Steven Reid.

The brimming smile on his face, as seen in these pictures, says it all, Dyche really seems in his element.

Class act that he is, he took pictures with multiple fans, which have since gone viral online.

Ditching the suit for a black polo really seems to be doing it for Dyche, and fans were of the opinion that he looked younger already.

Perhaps the removal of relegation battle stress helped the de-ageing.

While the sights of Dyche at Rock City were delightful, the scenes at Turf Moor certainly are distressing.

The Clarets managed to earn a draw at West Ham, no easy feat, but still not enough to catch up to Everton. Fans also got to witness a scene that really brings to mind the player/manager systems of the ’90s.

Alongside Under-23’s coach Mike Jackson, club captain Ben Mee was handed managerial responsibilities by the club, and he was spotted at the touchline, sporting a Burnley tracksuit.

The image makes the club’s decision appear even more unusual, and it’ll be interesting to see the developments that follow.
