Arsenal fans have never faced a shortage of quality in their kits over the past years as Adidas has blessed them with extremely catchy and well-designed kits made for the club. All three of the London side’s kit designs for the current season have been appreciated by fans while the additional kits such as the Adidas Teamgeist collection too have impressed many football fans.

Now, it looks like Adidas has once again delivered with Arsenal’s home kit this season. According to leaks from FootyHeadlines, the home kit looks an absolute classic with a new design for the red and white colour scheme. Adidas have ditched the designer print and has opted for a plain red look and has combined it with designer collars, with white shoulder stripes.

Supposed Arsenal home kit for 22/23 season

While fans may well be waiting to see more of the designs from official club announcements, it looks like Swiss midfielder Granit Xhaka has accidentally given Gunners fans a peek at the new home kit.

Xhaka visited a local outlet in Holloway Road called Chip Inn Fish Bar which was part of a commercial that was shot there with goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale.

Xhaka revisited the restaurant to meet the staff of the restaurant once again and also gifted them signed club kits. The restaurant’s Twitter account expressed their delight in meeting their local hero and shared images from the experience.

In one of the pictures shared, Arsenal fans have spotted that their Swiss player seems to be sporting their upcoming home kit for the new season, underneath his track jacket. As his collars are open while standing with the restaurant staff for photos, the home kit’s collars can be spotted in plain sight.

As per the available leaks of the home shirt, the kit carries a polo-style white collar which has a red zig-zag lining going around it and Arsenal fans allege that this feature can be spotted from Xhaka’s pictures from the restaurant. If looked at carefully, there seems to be a hint of redlining as per the leaks on the collar but since the entire collar is not out in plain view, it cannot be confirmed whether it is indeed the new kit.

If it was indeed the new Arsenal home kit, then Xhaka has successfully managed to tease Gunners fans with the images who would now be looking forward to getting their hands on the red and white kit at the earliest opportunity.
