Designed by sportswear brand Adidas, the Manchester United home kit for the 2022/23 season leaked earlier, showcasing a shield around the club crest, and a patterned collar.
After ominous silence around the away and third kits, fans finally received the first look, courtesy of leaked pictures from the official photoshoot.
As seen in these excessively blurry images, the away and third kits offer some decent colour variations.
The away kit opts for a clean look, with an icy white colour featuring majorly. Additionally, hints of cherry red can be seen, including the three stripes on the shoulders.
A patterned collar also appears to be present. The sponsor logos are all black, which adds a neat contrast to the overall look. A black finish has been applied at the end of the sleeves rounding off the design.
The shirt almost serves as a throwback to the iconic 2007/08 season for United. The away kit for the season featured similar colours and even a shield around the crest. Fans will certainly be hoping that Cristiano Ronaldo runs it back and achieves the same heights as he did during his first Ballon D’Or winning year.
As for the third kit, the primary colour is a bit more on the radical side. A hi-vis almost neon yellow is the base shade, while dark colour accents accompany it. The sponsor logos, stripes, and graphics all look to be dark blue.
The kit comes off as rather unconventional, and will probably split opinion amongst fans.
