How Richarlison teased Tottenham fans by wearing NBA top on holidays

If anyone had to be singled out for praise, for being a catalyst in ensuring safety for Everton last season then surely it has to be their Brazilian forward Richarlison. The 25-year-old registered 10 goals and 5 assists in the league which proved to be a crucial shift in attack given Everton’s struggles up front due to injuries to the likes of Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

As Frank Lampard’s men went into the final run of games that were to decide the Merseyside club’s fate, Richarlison came up clutch as he delivered 5 of his 12 goal contributions (G + A) in the last seven matches when it mattered the most.

Unsurprisingly, Richarlison’s stand-out performance has resulted in interest from other Premier League clubs with the player being considered too good for his current club.

As per multiple reports, the Brazilian is being courted by numerous English sides with Tottenham Hotspur being the ones closely linked with an approach. As Conte’s side have secured UCL football for next season, a switch to north London could be enticing for Richarlison who has spoken about his dream of playing in the Champions League in the past.

Now, it looks like the Everton man has dropped the strongest hint so far at a potential transfer to Tottenham as Richarlison was seen sporting a jersey of NBA side San Antonio Spurs (Western Conference Southwest Division) on his Instagram story.

The Brazilian reposted a story put up by his friend Marcio de Oliveira Jr where he was possibly wearing a Kawhi Leonard top.

While there is no actual link between the NBA side and Tottenham, they do both display visible similarities. Both have the ‘Spurs’ title in their name and also have white as the primary jersey colour of choice.

If that was by any means a preview, then surely there must be a deeper meaning in this latest post and perhaps the Everton man could be on his way to White Hart Lane.
