Thomas Tuchel Eases the Pain of Divorce With New Brazilian Girlfriend

Chelsea, Football WAGs, Thomas Tuchel

Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel is focused on building a strong enough side to compete with Manchester City and Liverpool for the Premier League title next season.

The Blues have had a topsy-turvy transfer window so far, having signed Raheem Sterling and Kalidou Koulibaly, but missing out on the likes of Raphinha, Ousmane Dembele and Jules Kounde to Barcelona.

Tuchel hasn’t had the best of luck in his professional career this year, losing two separate cup finals. But his personal life has also seen a drastic change in 2022. Earlier this year, the German gaffer separated from his wife Sissi.

The two had been married since 2009 and are parents to two daughters. Sissi worked as a journalist in Germany but supported Tuchel all through his career. She relocated with him to France during his time as the PSG manager. The two also moved together to London in 2020 when the manager took over Chelsea.

But it was revealed towards the end of last season that she had filed for divorce. No specific reason was mentioned, but it was broken after Chelsea’s 4-1 loss to Brentford in the Premier League in April. With his separation now seemingly finalized, it looks like Tuchel has moved on from it.

With the German manager still getting some personal time to himself in pre-season, he was pictured enjoying himself with another woman recently. The two were pictured hanging out on a boat as Tuchel seems to have gotten a new girlfriend.

There isn’t much revealed about her, but that she is apparently Brazilian and in her thirties as well. The two do seem to be getting along really well.

Many fans felt that Chelsea’s relatively underwhelming final few months of the season might be linked to the tough changes in Tuchel’s personal life and his divorce might be holding him back from operating at the highest level.

But the 48-year-old manager now seems to have his relationships in order and looks happy with his new partner as well. He will now hope that Chelsea’s new owners can also give him reason to smile by securing his wanted targets, including a striker to replace Romelu Lukaku and another centre-back.
