Breathtaking Fan Concept Kit Pays Homage to AC Milan Legends

AC Milan, Football Kits, Kit Concept, Puma

AC Milan are well and truly back to the top of Italian football. The Rossoneri pulled off an impressive story by winning the Serie A title last season, marking their first league trophy in over a decade. Years of building a strong squad, making cunning signings and developing a winning pattern helped them dominate the Italian scene again.

While Milan has become quite exciting to watch, that’s not the only thing that has received praise. The Italian side also has one of the most aesthetically pleasing kits in all of Europe. Their iconic red and black stripe combination is iconic in European football and their shirt designs are on point almost every season.

But Milan have also liked to experiment with their alternative kits over the last few seasons too. Puma came up with a ‘fourth kit’ for the club last season. It’s basically a white t-shirt with its iconic colours and badge inserted in the upper body part. That interesting concept has also inspired some fans to come up with unique concept art.

One particularly impressive concept jersey is their ‘legends kit’ that a fan has designed. It is inspired by Milan’s fourth kit last season but covers up the white ‘blank space’ of the t-shirt with some delightful artwork.

Indeed, the faces of some of Milan’s club legends are drawn over the blank white areas of the t-shirt to pay homage to some of their best-ever players.

The likes of Paulo Maldini, Marco van Basten, Andriy Shevchenko, Franco Baresi, Fabio Capello and Filippo Inzaghi are drawn in the front part of the t-shirt.

Not just that, but at the back just over the red & black, the names of the legendary players are also inscribed. The players in the legends’ kit played major roles in helping Milan earn their reputation as one of Italy’s best teams and a renowned European giant.

Maldini, in particular, is widely recognized as arguably the greatest player in Rossoneri’s history. He made over 900 appearances for them, winning 26 major trophies and many personal accolades as well.

He’s currently serving as their technical director and played a major role in helping them go from being Serie A mid-table dwellers to champions again.

Going by how gorgeous this legends jersey looks, it’d definitely be a perfect fit for Maldini. And if the Italian side and Puma can get this approved and make it available for fans, it’s guaranteed to sell like hot cake among the Rossoneri faithful.
