Moment Arsenal Fans Get New William Saliba ‘Tequila’ Chant Going At Jewish Wedding

Arsenal are flying high at the start of the Premier League season. After game week three, the Gunners are at the top of the table. This is a far cry from last season when they had lost all their first three opening games and were rooted to the bottom.

Much has changed since then, including the kind of players in the team. One player who has helped transform the Gunners from playing like a mid-table side to title contenders is defender William Saliba.

After a successful loan spell at Marseille, the Frenchman has been slotted straight into the first-team squad and is doing wonders.

He’s helped Arsenal keep two clean sheets in their first three games, scoring a goal AND an own-goal. It’s been a crazy ride, but Saliba’s had a very positive impact and rubbed off really sweetly with the fans.

The Gooners love creating chants for new players (they did so with new signing Gabriel Jesus REAL quick) and have formed one for Saliba too.

During their 3-0 drubbing of Bournemouth at the weekend, the chant for Saliba was ringing all throughout the game. Inspired by the song ‘Tequila’ by 1960s American Rock N’ Roll band the Champs, the chant is really addictive.

In fact, it’s so irresistible that the lyrics and tune are still ringing in the ears of Gooners all around. One set of Arsenal fans decided to use this momentum to create a memorable scene at a Jewish wedding. It was obviously a wedding of an Arsenal fan and he decided to sing the chant with his fellow Gooners.

The group of Arsenal fans can be seen dancing wildly and absolutely bellowing out the chant. They pull off some hilarious steps and are in a different groove to it.

The chant’s lyrics are relatively simple, as it goes something like this: “Do do do do do do do do Do. Do do do do do Do do do do do do do, do Do do do do do do …SALIBA!”

Basically, these lyrics are repeated all the way and can go on till whenever one wants to finish it, as it was evident in the Bournemouth game when the fans kept singing it for over 20 minutes.

These Gooners at the wedding just completed any football fan’s life goal of singing the favourite chant of their football team with their mates, and it’s honestly one to make us all jealous!
