Marvel’s upcoming project “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” is poised to release on 11th November 2022 and is creating all kinds of buzz on social media.
To further generate excitement, Marvel has collaborated with companies like LEGO.
Another organisation that Marvel has tied up for their upcoming release with is sportswear powerhouse Adidas.
Adidas has released a set of new shoes, including football boots, that will go on sale later this month.
The cleats, called Marvel Black Panther X Speedportal, are expected to go on sale on the 7th of October in the USA.
These shoes are part of a broader collection, which also includes Mahomes 1 Black Panther Impact FLX.
As is obvious, the colours are inspired by the black and purple suit from the popular movie.
The shoes are made from recycled materials and are extremely lightweight and flexible.
The design on the shoes is a zigzag griddled engraving and is reflective, to emulate the Vibranium metal made famous via the film.
Another colour that is prominent on these laceless cleats is gold, as a reference to Killmonger’s suit in the first movie.
The new shoes form a part of the Adidas X Speedportal collection, which is designed to generate acceleration and is super sleek and comfortable.
The German company has put a price tag of $280 on this pair, and by the looks of it, they should not have any trouble in selling them.
This is not the first time Adidas and Marvel have joined hands. Gamora from Guardians of the Galaxy was the character used for collaboration between the two giant organizations earlier.
Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Gamora ZX 2K Boost Shoes, the name given to the Gamora-inspired pair, were priced at $160 and featured a GOTG logo on the tongue.
With colours similar to Gamora’s suit from the movie, the shoes also had a reflective tip, to embody the character’s icy cool attitude.
With a lot more lined up for Marvel in the coming years, we cannot wait to see what Adidas X Marvel cooks up next.
