The recently contested North London Derby, which saw Arsenal dominate Spurs on the way to a 3-1 victory, attracted numerous star names to The Emirates.
Befitting its status as an A-grade Fixture, several celebs showed up at the venue including Thierry Henry and Leah Williamson.
However, the most notable attendees ended up being TV’s favourite coaching duo, as ‘Ted Lasso’ stars Jason Sudeikis and Brendan Hunt were spotted seated alongside Williamson.
Hunt, who plays Coach ‘Beard’ on the show, is a real-life Gooner and was also present for Arsenal’s trip to Brentford earlier this month.
The duo probably visited the home locker room to join in on the post-match celebrations, but the real party actually occurred on the next day.
The NFL arrived in Town (Ted Lasso’s choice of sport) and of course, he simply had to mark his presence.
In fact, numerous members of the ‘Ted Lasso’ cast were in attendance alongside Sudeikis and Hunt at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium, including Phil Dunster (Jamie Tartt), Kola Bokinni (Issac), Stephen Manas (Richard).
Joining them were fellow Arsenal players in Matt Turner and Rob Holding, and it was eventually the American player who ended up being part of an incredible picture.
The goalie beamed brightly and posed for the camera alongside the star cast, an image which left his teammates envious.
Turner took to his Instagram to post the moment, and he was soon met with humorous replies from Holding and Aaron Ramsdale.
Holding remarked on how unlucky he was to not feature in the picture, especially since he basically spent the entire weekend with him.
Ramsdale, on the other hand, expressed his surprise at not being invited by his Keeping partner, and it didn’t take long for Holding to point out the irony in that statement.
When social media exchanges are this banterful, you just know the vibes in the dressing room are positive. And considering Arsenal’s form at the moment, there’s no doubt that the players are on cloud nine.
