It was only last Sunday that YouTuber Ishowspeed was at Manchester United’s game against Fulham to watch his favorite footballer, Cristiano Ronaldo play.
Unfortunately for him, CR7 was absent from the squad.
This was the second time in the span of a week that Speed was denied the opportunity to watch his idol Cristiano play and hopefully meet him.
Last week, he was present at Old Trafford when the Red Devils played against Aston Villa in the Carabao Cup – another match CR7 did not play in.
However, in an unexpected turn of events, the YouTube star got the chance to meet former England manager Roy Hodgson during his visit to Craven Cottage.
When it comes to most random crossovers ever, these two polar opposite personalities bumping into each other is right up there.
Watching the clip of a wild character like Speed asking a sophisticated individual like Roy Hodgson some questions about his managerial career was something no one was expecting to experience.
The 17-year-old influencer first asked him what it was like coaching the England national team, to which the former Fulham manager replied that it was rather interesting.
He also asked Hodgson if he coached David Beckham, to which he answered no.
Although the conversation between the two was short, it was clear that neither of them had any idea who each of them were, which makes the exchange all the more surprising and hilarious.
The veteran head coach, who probably isn’t up to speed with the current YouTube scene, would most likely be puzzled by such an exchange with a character like Ishowspeed, who is famous for his edgy humor.
This isn’t the first time Speed has come across a legend of English football during his trip to the UK as he had an enjoyable interaction with Patrick Crerand last week at Old Trafford during Manchester United’s game against Aston Villa in the Carabao Cup.
Meeting two legends of the sport like Crerand and Hodgson surely might’ve been an enjoyable experience for Speed.
However, he is still adamant in his quest to meet and see his idol CR7 and hopefully, he will soon get the opportunity to do so.
