Mikel Arteta has spectacularly turned things around at Arsenal this season – almost inspiring a rags-to-riches story for the Gooners.
After struggling to secure a top-4 finish last season and failing in top-6 places in the Premier League in years before that, Arteta is now motivating his side to a title charge.
The Spanish manager is probably living proof of how a manager can influence major changes at a club if given enough time and resources for it.
Obviously, the gaffer had to make a lot of bold choices to get where he is right now.
That includes selling Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and signing players from ‘lesser’ teams – as well as integrating a risky youth policy within the club.
Fortunately for him, all the stars have aligned this season and his excellent management has created a family-like atmosphere at Arsenal and raised the dressing room morale.
New photoshoot
Amid all the gaga around him, there are a lot of journalists who are craving interviews with Arteta.
Some are the same who were brutally critical of his work in the initial years as Arsenal manager. The Spaniard has given a new exclusive interview to The Telegraph, but it wasn’t really about football.
The interview is more about his lifestyle and whatever he likes beyond the beautiful game. Speaking about how he dresses for the Arsenal games in a simple yet elegant suit, he said:
I just wear something that belongs to my personality, as well as the club that I represent. It’s basically me. I dress in a really similar way for dinner with friends, and that’s what I like to do.
Arteta likes to be fashionable and is quite particular towards one style of fashion.
He loves Italian modern luxury fashion and opts to wear suits or attires made by the likes of Giorgio Armani, Brunello Cucinelli, Loro Piana, Zegna and Prada – to name a few.
Arteta is also quite superstitious when it comes to his dressing sense too – adding that he never changes his suits whenever Arsenal is on a winning streak.
Fans wowed with model-like pictures
Not only has the Spaniard impressed fans with his revelations in this interview, but some have been buoyed by some of the pictures that come from it.
The 40-year-old gaffer is almost looking like a model well younger than he really is. Arteta has done well to keep himself in top shape and has aged better than many of his compatriots at Arsenal.
Some Arsenal fans just can’t get enough of how good Arteta looks in the variety of suits and different kinds of attire he’s worn in the interview.
Of course, the Gooners are in seventh heaven after seeing the kind of change he’s inspired at the club and gotten them to compete for the league title this season.
But some are also amazed by how good he looks. Some believe he actually looks younger than Manchester United winger Antony. Some are impressed with just how classy he looks in these pictures as well.

Arteta’s popularity keeps on soaring as the season wears on and it looks likelier than Arsenal will actually do the unthinkable of winning the league title over City.
The Spaniard, however, is a pragmatic person who has experienced heartbreak at the final hurdle in the past – having seen a top-4 Premier League finish snatched away last season.
He won’t make the mistake of celebrating anyting before the season is over and ensure his players keep their ground and keep on winning matches until they’ve actually secured the league title.
