Inside The Luxurious Pep Guardiola Richard Mille Watch Collection

Pep Guardiola

Pep Guardiola is a man of divine taste and choices, as proven by his relatively unknown obsession with wristwatches. The Manchester City gaffer likes to be fashionable and wears fancy attires to the games.

The Spaniard is currently looking to help the Citizens win an ambitious treble in the campaign. They’re still competing strongly for the Premier League and FA Cup titles, as well as being in the quarter-finals of the Champions League. His managerial ability cannot be doubted and his numbers do the talking for him.

Guardiola has won league titles across Spain, Germany, and England in his career and guided the Citizens to four Premier League trophies since arriving in 2016. He’s also won the Champions League title but is yet to do so with the Citizens in his eight years with them.

As Pep aims to guide his side to finally break their European duck in the final stretch of the season, one interesting aspect of his life has recently come under the radar. It appears that Guardiola has a major hobby of collecting slick watches and is in love with one brand in particular.

Inside Pep Guardiola’s Richard Mille watch collection

Guardiola is known to have a really expensive collection of watches. He is picky with the kind of watches he wears and how they go with his attires for matches, which normally includes a sweater and pants combination.

Pep is known to have eight luxury watches in his collection, which also includes two Rolex watches as well. He is also obsessed with Richard Mille luxury watches, which picked up after he joined City in 2016. Richard Mille is a Swiss luxury watch company – which specializes in creating clockwork watches that have been described as ‘unnecessarily extravagant’ by some.

He owns one of the rarest RM watches in the 022 Tourbillon Aerodyne, which is designed in titanium just for him. It is a one-of-a-kind watch that combines a dual time zone complication with an external structure in titanium. Moreover, it also has an orthorhombic titanium aluminide and carbon nanofibre composite. He owns one of the only five such pieces that were created.

One of the Richard Mille watches that Pep loves to wear quite often is the RM 010 ‘Manchester City’ edition. This is also a limited edition showpiece, with only 30 such watches made. It features City’s iconic blue colors in the inner bezel, crown, and bracelet. The skeleton movement inside the watch shows hours, and minutes, a date window, and a variable-geometry rotor.

Pep is also a big fan of Tennis sensation Rafael Nadal and bought one RM watch that was made for Nadal himself. Indeed, the City gaffer also owns the RM27-01 Tourbillon Rafael Nadal edition too. This model is one of the 10 pieces released in 2018 and has a slick silver outlook.

What is the price of RM watches owned by Pep Guardiola?

The most expensive RM watch that Pep Guardiola owns is the RM27-01 Tourbillon Rafael Nadal edition, which has a market price of $1.5 million. The City edition watch is relatively cheaper, coming at around $95,000.

But the RM-022 Tourbillon Aerodyne Titanium edition is an extremely rare piece that had a list price of $580,000. Guardiola has a watch collection worth well over $2 million – which just shows how obsessed he is with collecting slick watches.
