It’s off-season and it’s that time of the year when football players are spotted with celebrities from all walks of life.
Manchester City star Erling Haaland is one of the star footballers, who is definitely enjoying his time off from football.
Recently pictures of him holidaying in Spain where he was seen striking a happy pose with Croatian supermodel Ivana Knoll was all over internet.
The football star and the fashion model apparently ran into each other at the exclusive Playa Soleil beach club in Ibiza.
Later, he was also spotted with The Night League CEO Yann Pissenem, with the photo attracting as much attraction as it was with the one taken together with former Miss Croatia.
Holiday mood
The Manchester City’s treble star is still on a holiday mood and mostly he was seen with American rap singer Future.
The Norwegian scored 52 goals throughout the season and 36 in Premier League alone from 38 games in his maiden season with City which was memorable in every sense as they won a League double – the Premier League and FA Cup – before capping it up with the till-now elusive UEFA Champions League –something their Abu Dhabi-owners have been keen on since taking over the club.
Haaland scored 12 goals in all in Champions League, and held the key to their fortunes throughout the campaign which culminated with a 1-0 win over Serie A powerhouse Inter Milan in Istanbul.
And Haaland had been a central figure in Pep Guardiola’s scheme of things at Etihad throughout the season and is destined for future things as the new season begins..
Haaland’s party pictures from Ibiza in Spain had won the internet, but it looks as though the selfie with rapper Future has become the butt of jokes.
“Haaland x Future, Wtf is random link up,” tweeted one fan with a crying emoji.
“Halland bout to get more toxic on the pitch next season,” read another tweet while hilarious tweets like these, “Future asked for a photo from Haaland!” and “Add this to the weirdest link ups file,” were also seen on Twitter.
The 22-year-old has been grabbing eyeballs wherever he has been going. Following his much-hyped move from Borussia Dortmund to Manchester City just before the start of the last season, much was expected him and so far it he has been able to live up to his top billing.
On the football pitch whatever Haaland has been doing is turning out to be gold, but off the pitch, some of his acts have caught fans guessing.
Poor dress sense
There are some who were sceptic about the Norwegian’s dress sense. Haaland has often been seen in some pyjamas while holidaying with some weird and fancy sunglasses, at times giving him a comic look.
“Why does he wear pyjamas,” tweeted one fan while “What the hell is a Polar Bear,” read another.
Manchester City are off to Tokyo next week to play pre-season friendlies against some of the J-League clubs.
They begin the Premier League title defence with an away game against Burnley on the opening day of the new season on August 11.
