Does the 23/24 Manchester City Away Kit Feature a Beige Pattern or Not?

Reigning European champions Manchester City’s away kit for the 2023-24 season has been released early in the United Arab Emirates and debate rages about the color scheme on the front.

The jersey on sale online in that country is white, the sponsor and Puma logo in orange while the club badge is colored white and orange.

Also, the sleeves are a shade of brown just like the polo neck collar.

At the same time, it has been predicted that the actual jersey will have a beige pattern on the front instead of being all white as kit has also been physically spotted being on sale in Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and The Soccer Corner store in Texas.

The jerseys on sale in Texas have a white and beige disjointed diamond-shaped tile pattern on the front, with the sponsor and the logos maroon in color.

At the same time, the sleeves and collar are mahogany in color.

Maroon shorts complete that kit, featuring the club badge in the same hue but outlined in orange.

Pep Guardiola’s side will be competing for seven trophies in the 2023-24 season, starting with the Community Shield clash versus the Gunners on Sunday and the UEFA Super Cup game against Sevilla ten days later.

They debuted their other strip in the friendly win over Bayern Munich in Tokyo around a week ago.

It remains to be seen when exactly the Cityzens will debut their away kit in official competition as well as the exact color scheme used in the same.

For the moment, the debate will continue to rage on at least until the kit is launched by the club.

The Cityzens will open their defence of the Premier League crown with a trip to Turf Moor against newly-promoted Burnley.

Guardiola’s charges will likely wear their home kit for the games against the Gunners and the Rojiblancos, who will both do likewise.

With the game against the Clarets scheduled for August 11, they have until then to release the authentic away kit.
