Twitter Reacts to Sudden Wave of blonde Man United Players

Manchester United took on Wolverhampton Wanderers, on the opening day in a season that promises much hope for the faithful of Stratford End.

The arrivals of Rasmus Hojlund, along with Mason Mount and Andre Onana have indicated Ten Hag’s aggressive intention of solidifying the weaker areas in his team.

Wolves on the other hand started the game with many critics already considering them as the prime candidates for this season’s dreaded relegation spots.

They lost their manager Julen Lopetegui, chiefly due to the Spaniard’s grievances over the club’s financial constraints along with talismanic midfielder Ruben Neves and Raul Jimenez.

So, given the circumstance at hand, it was expected to be a showcase of scintillating display from the Red Devils.

However, contrary so, at the half-time whistle, there was an air of repetition of the dreary same at Old Trafford.

Wolves played in the front foot going toe to toe with Ten Hag’s men and had there been a more clinical finisher, the midlands side would probably have found themselves ahead in the game.

Manchester United’s performance was such dismal that the highlight of the first half for them was the hair highlights of four of their players in the starting lineup.

Football journalist and writer for, The Athletic, and Times Sport, Tom Williams, promptly posted the same on Twitter at the time.

New signing, Mason Mount, with Antony, youngster Garnacho and center back Lissandro Martinez all started the game with their hair dyed blonde.

Fans of the club are hardly strangers to fancy hair colors and styles given the years spent at the club by Frenchman, Paul Pogba.

They will certainly be hoping the united blonde hair color of four of their players this season doesn’t draw a similar style of performance to the Frenchman towards the last stages of his time at the club. Football fans can be incredibly superstitious.

Indeed, amongst the four blondes, none had an evening that would outshine their bright hair. Mason Mount had a less-than-convincing debut.

So much so, his brother took to Twitter, to protest against those criticizing Mount after one match, Antony too mostly floated through the game, and Garnacho did well in parts but not enough perhaps to warrant steady starts throughout the season.

Martinez will be thanking the stars for a lack of a goal scorer at Wolves and for a controversial penalty decision that went in favor of his team. Fans will be hoping in future matches they play as golden as their hair is.
