Tottenham Hotspur captain Son Heung-min has been in impressive form on the pitch. He has played a key role in helping the Lilywhites have their best start to a season since he joined them. Spurs are flying high in the Premier League, sitting on top of the table over Manchester City and Arsenal.
However, the South Korean international is also working hard off the pitch to give back to those who helped him rise to stardom. Son has gained a reputation for being quite active with his modelling activities outside of the pitch.
The Spurs captain has been proactive in promoting himself in advertisements and for fashion brands over the past years. He is currently a brand ambassador for UK luxury clothing brand Burberry and has modelled in some expensive clothing for him. This included a £1250 jacket which he wore to a match last season.
On top of that, the South Korea captain is also involved in business ventures in his country. He has also done a lot to give back to the community by doing a lot of developmental and charity work. Son seems to be working hard to ensure that the grassroots program in South Korea keeps improving and that more prime talents like him gain prominence in European football.
He has launched his own football academy in Chuncheon, his home town named the Chuncheon Son Heung-min Sports Park. The park is a multi-story facility which has a football field, a futsal field, a foot volleyball field and a memorial hall. As per estimates, Son reportedly spent 17 billion South Korean Won (around £10 million) to build.
It’s inside this luxurious complex that he’s also helped his aunt launch her own café. This is named Café Infeeld and one that the Spurs skipper seems adamant at promoting as strongly as possible.
Recently, Son posted a few pictures on his Instagram account by tagging the Café’s account in the caption. The picture shows him just promoting the café which is close to the football academy set up by him.
This definitely seems like a more luxurious café with classy interior decoration. It has probably been designed for those who partake in his football academy and for them to have refreshments if needed. Son promoted his aunt’s café by posting pictures in which he himself gains a lot of the spotlight too.
Indeed, Son can be seen wearing a fashionable white and black combo for this one. He is wearing a black t-shirt with black pants and tops that off with a beautiful all-white jacket. It’s very likely that the entire attire is extremely expensive and probably tailor-made for him by Burberry or some other luxury brand.
Son’s promotional activities appears to have worked its magic and helped the Café gain prominence among the local media too. That is because Korean magazine Dott decided to do a profile on the café soon after his post. In it, the magazine also talks about the best items in the café which are Cream Comtrue, Cornfield, and Soccer Ball Bread.
Moreover, the café also has products from Son’s own fashion brand ‘NOS7’ – which is run by his family. The café is open from 11 AM to 8 PM every day. It’s clear that the South Korean is doing all he can to help his family members excel with their business idea and his post about the Café Infeeld will definitely help attract more people to visit it going forward.
