Midmatch Fortnite Dance Reveals True Age Of Endrick

Brazil National Football Team, Endrick, Real Madrid

Endrick is, at the moment, the most exciting prospect in Brazil and one of the most promising young footballers in the world.

The Real Madrid-bound forward has stolen the limelight in the second half of his season with Palmeiras, regaining his berth in the starting XI after being dropped to the bench in July and August.

Since then, the 17-year-old has scored six goals in 13 starts in the Brazilian top flight, playing a pivotal role in taking Palmeiras to the top of the league and within touching distance of winning it.

In all competitions, Endrick has scored 13 goals in 52 games and recently earned his maiden call-up to the Brazilian senior national team, where he made two appearances (both off the bench).

While he has shown maturity beyond his years on the pitch, thanks to his phenomenal displays, he also recently gave an example of his childish innocence as he’s only still a teenager. During Palmeiras’ game against Fluminense, Endrick was seen doing the famous ‘floss’ moves from the popular video game Fortnite. He pulled it off while a substitution was taking place.

The video of Endrick ‘flossing’ has gone viral on social media platforms as it certainly depicts the footballer’s hilarious side. At the end of the day, he is simply a teenager who has been subject to a lot of hype and media attention, thanks in part to his association with Real Madrid.

It’s a rare sight to see a footballer pull off random dance moves in the middle of a game. While we have seen footballers perform dance moves and other gestures after winning a game or scoring a goal, Endrick’s hilarious moment is one of a kind. The Palmeiras sensation is enjoying his football at the moment and is mentally in a good place.

Talking about his performance during the game, the versatile forward played 71 minutes. But he had a few moments that would certainly make the highlights reel. Endrick, in the first half, received the ball on the right wing and breezed past a few defenders to put it on a platter for Breno Lopes. The goal was, however, disallowed following a VAR intervention.

That didn’t prove to be a setback for the Brazilian Serie A leaders as Breno Lopes scored the winning goal of the game 11 minutes later. Palmeiras now need a draw to ensure they win the league.
