Juventus are pushing hard for the 2023/24 Serie A title and recently announced the acquisition of a new midfielder Carlos Alcaraz from Southampton on loan for the rest of the season.
The Argentine midfielder is a skilful, creative and hard-working midfielder who can help add more depth in the middle of the park for Massimiliano Allegri’s side and add the added spark in midfield too.
With that being said, Alcaraz is also a namesake for Tennis World No. 2 Carlos Alcaraz.
The Spanish tennis player is taking the sport by storm, having already won the US Open and Wimbledon championship titles at the age of 20.
The tennis starlet decided to give a hilarious response to Juventus announcing the signing of his namesake on their Instagram account.
In the comments section where Juventus wished for the Argentine midfielder to give his best for the club, the Spaniard replied: “I’ll, try my best! Thanks for the trust!”
The tennis star has already revealed that Real Madrid is his favourite football team and he follows the sport quite diligently despite his own blooming tennis career.
The new midfielder will hope that he can reach the highs of his namesake and be a booming success at Juventus.
