Kyle Walker was forced to celebrate Father’s Day (June 16) in Germany. He helped the England side get off to a decent start in their Euro 2024 campaign, picking up a gritty 1-0 win over Serbia.
The Manchester City captain was an ever-reliable figure at the back, helping them defend strongly and get the clean sheet.
But Walker was also unfortunate enough to be the victim of a rather hilarious Father’s Day Meme on social media.
The 34-year-old is the father of four children with his childhood sweetheart Annie Kilner, whom he married in 2022.
But it’s Walker’s extramarital affairs and off-the-pitch controversies that have made him the butt of some Father’s Day jokes.
A lot of fans have immediately started making memes about how tiring the day might’ve been for Walker.
They are joking that he probably received a huge bunch of Father’s Day gifts or letters from his children as he was preparing for the Euro 2024 opener in Germany.
How many kids does Kyle Walker have?
The major reason why Walker has become this strange ‘Father’s Day Meme’ is because of his controversial private life.
Despite being in a relationship with Kilner since 2012, he hasn’t exactly been faithful to his partner at all.
Because despite sharing four children with Kilner, one of whom he even brought to the Ballon d’Or awards earlier this year, the Englishman has other offspring too.
Indeed, Walker has been strongly speculated to share two children with UK model Lauryn Goodman.
The two have had an affair multiple times over the last five years. He shared a relationship with Goodman in 2019, while on a temporary break with Kilner. A year or so after that, their first child, Kairo was born.
But their relationship did not end there. Walker had another affair with Goodman after marrying Kilner in 2022 and got her knocked up again. As a result, Walker also shares a baby daughter with Goodman despite being married to Kilner and having four children with her!
Walker admitted to his ‘mistakes’ and affairs with Goodman in an interview earlier this year in January, telling The Sun: “What I’ve done is horrible and I take full responsibility. The only person to blame is me. I have roles and responsibilities that I’m aware of, and I’ve made stupid choices. But I need to own up to my mistakes – I owe it to everyone.”
This seems to have worked to make Kilner forgive him. That’s because Walker is reportedly back living together with his childhood sweetheart after she gave birth to their fourth child in April.
But Walker is definitely not getting off-the-hook among the football fans, who will continuously look to mock him for his disastrous personal life choices by continuing these ‘dad jokes’ at him.
