Cole Palmer ascended himself to genuine ‘world class’ status after scoring an extraordinary goal in the Euro 2024 final against Spain. Even though England went down to a 2-1 loss, Palmer’s ability to come up with that kind of a goal under pressure proved how special a player he really is.
Palmer comes from a rather humble, working class family in which the people closest to him are all involved in their own work.
The Chelsea winger’s dad is a dental engineer who also played as a Sunday League footballer and his mother works as a dyslexia assessor. He also has an elder sister Hallie, 23, who is about a year-and-a-half older to him and among his fiercest supporters.
The 22-year-old’s sister doesn’t shy away from showing how proud the family is of Cole. Hallie accompanied Cole when he signed his first contract at Manchester City and never shied away from being with him in some of his biggest moments.
Hallie recently travelled to Germany to support her brother in the Euro 2024 campaign along with other family members. She also managed to capture the entire experience on her Instagram account (where she has just over 7,000 followers), showing what the WAG’s and family members of players do during such a tournament.
While she’s quite proactive in her glittering love for her brother on social media, Cole’s sister is also intent on becoming her own person and is also a small business owner in the UK. Hallie is currently pursuing a fashion degree in Manchester amid her desire to become a fashion designer. Amid her educational pursuing, the 23-year-old is also hard at work at doing some work on the side to sustain herself and also give her fashion career an early push.

In 2023, Hallie decided to set up her own small fashion business ‘SoulTiedUK’ from Manchester. This is entirely operated by herself, and she mostly designs innovative hair ribbons and scrunchies for women to tie their hair with something stylish.
In the official description of her SoulTiedUK brand, Hallie wrote on Etsy: “Everything is handmade in Manchester, UK as environmentally friendly as possible, this includes using deadstock fabric and sustainable packaging.
“As I grow into my own niche in the fashion scene, I will be developing new styles and exploring new products which will allow Soul Tied to grow into a mirror images of my ideas. If you like what you see, give us a follow and follow along our Soul Tied journey.”

As it’s a small business, Hallie mostly operates on a word-of-mouth basis and sells locally around Manchester for those who order her hair ribbons. She has sold a few products on Etsy and the reviews seem to be quite positive too. Despite being the sister of a multi-millionaire football, there is no sense of arrogance to hire some people to do the work for her.
Instead, Hallie undergoes the entire process of personally going to shops to buy the necessary materials to design her hair ribbons and scrunchies. She captured the entire process in an interesting Instagram reel, showing herself not only buying the materials but the innovative way in which she makes the material using a sewing machine and other products.
Hallie was actually the one who posted that hilarious Cole Palmer reel in which he’s rapping when he was younger, but that appears to have been deleted from her Instagram account. But Hallie has been an avid supporter of Palmer and remained a strong pillar through his highs and lows, all while also setting up her own fashion career and ensuring she can be a successful, independent businesswoman.
