It was his second trip to Norway where speed allegedly demanded a contract from the Viking FK coach after defeating a Norwegian footballer in a straight sprint.
Popular YouTuber IShowSpeed is currently on a tour of Europe. He has visited countries like Hungary, Poland and Italy creating a hype around the now concluded Euros 2024.
Recently, the famous social media star can be seen roaming around in the streets of Norway, meets some locals and trying his footballing luck on Norwegian pitches.
In his latest YouTube vlog, Speed can be seen visiting and meeting people in Stavanger. Speed also visited the Viking Stadion, the home of Viking FK where he placed a bet with the Viking coach in which if he defeated the fastest Viking player in a foot race he will get a contract from the club.
Speed daringly accepted the offer and said, ‘Chat, this is gonna be the easiest Norwegian contract in history.’ to the people watching his live stream.
The race started and speed passed ahead of his opponent in seconds, glaringly looking towards him while running. As soon as he won the race Speed yelled, ‘Give me my contract’ and proudly claimed to the coach that he hadn’t even gone full speed in the race. Fortunately, for the streamer however, he didn’t have to race again after claiming an injury.
Fans were flabbergasted after speed won the foot race against a professional football player. While some social media users said that speed has got an Usain Bolt moment of his own after winning the race and looking towards the opponent as soon as he got ahead, referring to the historic moment when Usain Bolt looked back at Canada’s Kevin De Grasse during the 100 meters gold medal race at the Rio Olympics.
Others exclaimed that speed would’ve definitely pulled a career in sports had he not been a streamer. People also commented that speed has rightfully proven the worth of his name.

The Viking FK player who challenged Speed to a foot race was Norwegian defender Sondre Klingen Langas who players as a defender in Stavanger based club. The 23-year-old is on a four-year contract with Viking and made his debut for the Eliteserien club in August 2023 against Lillestrøm SK.
IShowSpeed is in Norway for the second time after his first trip wasn’t particularly pleasant for the young YouTuber. During his first visit to Norway, he was manhandled by a large crowd going to the extent of pulling his hair. It was reported that each plucked deadlock was sold on e-bay for $1700. Additionally, he was also forced to pay more than $50,000 in damages to his vehicle and also alleged that someone from the overexcited crowd threw urine towards him. After these distressing incidents, Speed had vowed to never visit Norway again on his X account.
Speed had earlier featured the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Alisha Lehmann on his live stream channel which has a whopping 10.9 million subscribers on YouTube. He is a huge Cristiano Ronaldo fan and has openly supported Portugal during the Euro 2024 held in Germany. He was also featured playing a one-on-one football game with Cristiano’s eldest son, Ronaldo Jr. Speed has also been a popular musician with singles like Dooty Booty, Ronaldo (Sewey), World Cup, and Portuginies amongst the most popular songs in his music career.
