Tottenham Hotspur have recently signed England’s young prodigy Archie Gray from Leeds United and Swedish midfielder Lucas Bergvall from Djurgården.
The 18-year-olds are yet to play for Spurs, but fans now have an insight into some of the preferences of the two players due to a recent Reddit Ask me Anything (AMA) session conducted by Spurs official account.
During the session, the two Spurs players answered some of the fans’ questions which gave people some insightful details about the two youngsters.
A fan asked their favorite kit from their favorite club while growing club. Archie Gray revealed that the 2012 Barcelona’s shirt was his favorite. He also remembers the time when he visited Spain as a 6-year-old kid wearing that infamous jersey. Lucas, on the other hand, preferred the third kit of his previous club Djurgården in Sweden.
It was also revealed that Lucas Bergvall is probably a Christopher Nolan fan. On being asked about their favorite film, Bergvall’s choice was Nolan’s classic Interstellar while Archie said that he prefers cars over movies signaling that he probably doesn’t watch as many films.
On being asked their celebration moves after they strike their first goal, both youngsters preferred the knee slide whenever they draw first blood for Spurs. Fans now also know that the two youngsters prefer to play box to box in a classical number 8 role but are flexible in their playing approach. The two youngsters also enjoy golfing and are fond of playing games in their leisure time. While Lucas prefers Fortnite, Archie chooses FIFA Pro Clubs.
On being asked about their teammates, Archie Gray thinks that Fraser Froster is the funniest amongst the lot. Lucas, on the other hand, called Yves Bissouma as the funniest adding that the 27-year-old defensive midfielder is full of energy. The Spurs youngsters also added that they are looking forward to make their debut as Spurs players and also meet the Argentinian defender and their fellow teammate Cuti Romero, who is currently with the Argentinian national squad celebrating their second successive Copa America victory.
Archie Gray’s music preferences were on the more hip-hop side of things. His favorite song turned out to be chosen one by polo g released in 2019. Lucas Bergvall, on the other hand, had a taste for more vintage rock music with the song ‘Everywhere’ by legendary British-American band Fleetwood Mac as his all-time favorite.

On the more football side of things, answering as to what gets them most excited on the pitch, Archie responded that when the team scores a really good team goal, involving a lot of passes and with the contribution of all players on the pitch, that gets him most excited. Lucas had a different version of excitement, for him, an early tackle or a crucial assist from him leading to a goal and even a late winner gets his adrenaline pumped up indicating his interest in more physical aspect of a football game.
