Venezia have ushered past the Kappa era by signing a sponsorship deal with Nike’s Nocta, a brand fronted by Canadian rapper Drake.
The Italian side spent the 2024 pre-season campaign without a shirt sponsor and wearing basic kits. But that’ll change ahead of their return to Serie A.
An early leaked sneak peek at Venezia’s home kit shows Nocta’s first attempt at creating their home attire for the 2024/25 season.
It’s a black attire with prominent curved diamond shapes all over. This particular style is potentially inspired by the Nocta logo.
The shirt sleeve areas and side panels have an orange and green shade, inspired by Venezia’s club colors. The sponsor logos are given a golden color for a ‘royal’ shade.
Despite their best efforts, Nocta’s experiment has fallen flat with most fans.
Absolute terrible. Biggest downgrade ever? All of the elements just don’t work. The pattern disappearing mid way, the orange side panels, the weird sponsor.. Just a terrible effort all round.
Venezia fans must be gutted after such an iconic stint with Kappa..🤦🏻♂️
