Jude Bellingham has gone missing from Real Madrid’s matches. But there is a good reason for that. The Englishman has not been in Los Blancos squad in their last two La Liga matches (win over Rayo Vallecano and draw to Las Palmas) because of a muscular injury that will keep him out of action for a short period.
Bellingham is expected to make his return to action after the 2024 September international break, but his absence appears to have created a strange social media trend. There is this ‘Where is Jude Bellingham’ trend that is starting to slowly take over social media and has become an especially viral thing on TikTok.
Well this trend was actually started by social media influencer Madeline Argy. She is a very popular lifestyle vlogger cum influencer who boasts over 9 million followers on her TikTok and over 3 million followers on Instagram.
Madeline is also a lifestyle vlogger on YouTube, having over 600,000 subscribers to whom she mostly services with daily vlogs and videos of her attending events.

Argy has also seen her fame rise as she’s the ex-girlfriend of rapper Central Cee. She got embroiled in a controversy earlier this year when Cee was reportedly dating rapper Ice Spice. Madeline made a post soon after the two rappers were seen together claiming that Cee had started dating other woman even before formally breaking up with her.
Well, Argy has found another way of going viral on social media by creating the ‘Where is Jude Bellingham’ trend. This all started when Madeline posted a clip showing herself attending a match during the 2024 Wimbledon tournament where she seems a bit disappointed at what is being offered.
Madeline poses the phone towards the camera showing the words ‘Where is Jude Bellingham’ written before it pans to the Wimbledon game, where the Real Madrid star is clearly nowhere to be seen as he’s a footballer and not a Tennis player.
This is basically a case of Argy fangirling over Bellingham and ‘connecting’ with many girls who are obsessed with meeting the Real Madrid stars. Despite this entire trend being a silly one, it managed to go really viral on TikTok.
Argy’s video has over 4.2 million likes and over 66,000 shares, helping her gain a lot of traction among football fans too.
Well, her silly antics even caught up with ex-Borussia Dortmund defender Mats Hummels – who played with Bellingham for quite a few years in Germany.

Hummels, who is currently a free agent but reportedly set to join Real Sociedad, recently attended a concert where he decided to continue this trend. He posted a picture on his Instagram where Hummels can also be seen holding a phone where the words ‘Where is Jude Bellingham’ written prominently over it.
It appears that this trend is actually picking up quite a bit of popularity. That is because some fans have indicated that whenever some non-British tourists visit England these days, they can be seen taking pictures like this.
It basically indicates that many fans treat Bellingham as the best thing to come from England currently and are going to ask around about him in the country.
The reality is that Bellingham is currently in his home (either in Madrid or England) doing the necessary rehabilitation work to recover from his injury.
After seeing Real Madrid slip up against Las Palmas, the Englishman will be desperate to regain full fitness and return to be a maverick who leads Los Blancos to more titles and further improves his reputation as a uber-popular sportsperson.
