Jarell Quansah scripted a new chapter in his Liverpool career by signing a long-term contract with his childhood club in early October (2024).
The centre-back has been a part of the Reds’ system since he was a five-year-old child and is now trying to become a regular for Arne Slot’s side this season.
Quansah was clearly delighted to have signed the new deal. Even the Liverpool fans were delighted that one of their own tied themselves to a long-term deal at a point when Trent Alexander-Arnold’s future is up in the air as his contract expires in June 2025.
But amid all the euphoria, some digging on social media by a few supporters has landed the 21-year-old in hot water.
A few days after the centre-back’s new contract was confirmed, a screenshot of an Instagram conversation started going viral on social media.
The screenshot shows a part of a conversation between Quansah using his official Instagram account and a British girl named Izzy Reid.
The 21-year-old Liverpool man can be seen asking her ‘How old are you Izzy?’ to which the girl honestly responds that she only turns 18 in a few weeks and doesn’t want him to land up in trouble.
Quansah insinuates that they can keep talking to each other ‘as long as you consent’ and even admits that makes him come off as ‘creepy’.
He even tells the girl that ‘you make all the moves now’ to which he suggests that perhaps she should start messaging him after a few weeks once she turns 18.
But the Liverpool defender shows no problem in continuing the conversation with the teenage girl and even asks her what he was doing the next day.
He has come under heavy criticism for this on social media because the 21-year-old was trying to flirt with a minor girl.
But this viral screenshot is actually not the only thing that has tried tarnishing Quansah’s reputation since he signed the new contract.
In the latest episode of the Sinners Podcast, a lifestyle podcast that has over 42,000 subscribers on its YouTube channel, a British OnlyFans star Bonnie Blue made an interesting remark about Liverpool.
She revealed that a member of the Reds’ squad messaged on her being involved in sexual relations with 22 guys at the same time.
Blue claimed that: “Long story short it turns out that he wants me to organize a massive gangbang as guys for him.” After that, the podcast hosts started asking her questions to try and recognize the identity of the person.
Blue admitted that he’s a current member of the Liverpool squad and is around 20-21 years of age.
She refused to answer what the player’s skin colour was before someone shouted ‘Quansah’, to which she looked a bit surprised by insists ‘I’m not answering that’.
In the current Liverpool squad, only Quansah, Harvey Elliott and Conor Bradley are in the 21-year age bracket.
That’s why the general assumption is that it was probably Jarell who sent her the message after the way he tried flirting with the other girl. But there is actually no proof at all that this happened.
Unlike the Izzy Reid screenshot, which looked legitimate, Blue wasn’t able to showcase any such proof.
The X-rated content creator is probably just trying to get more attention on herself by aiming to go viral with these comments, knowing that not only Liverpool fans but their rival supporters will gouge it all up.
Neither Quansah nor Liverpool have paid any attention to what is happening on social media.
The 21-year-old centre-back looks fully focused on nailing a first-team role in Slot’s side after failing to start a Premier League game since he was hooked at half-time in the 2-0 win over Ipswich Town in the first league match.
