Liverpool’s Dominik Szoboszlai enjoyed a stellar outing for his country at the UEFA Nations League this international break, as Hungary defeated Bosnia and Herzegovina 2-0, with Liverpool’s No. 8 being on the scoresheet twice this Tuesday.
This is following a robust and spirited draw against international football giants the Netherlands, wherein his club companion and leader Virgil Van Dijk was sent off for dissent and arguing with the referee.
But what might have made his already amazing week even more stellar is the fact that the Liverpool midfielder got engaged with his partner Borka Buzsik just a day after he registered two goals for his country.
This has sparked an interest in Liverpool and football fans in who their midfield maestro is getting settled with.

Szoboszlai uploaded a picture with her partner on Wednesday amidst the backdrop of the Four Seasons Hotel, Gresham Palace at Budapest in his home country. This hotel is a centerpiece in many movies from the west and Hollywood in general. The picture was captioned “She said yes!” with a heart and ring emoji to its next.
Many fellow colleagues, including the likes of Liverpool teammates Trent Alexander Arnold and Ryan Gravenberch, congratulated Dominik for this auspicious moment in his life, along with Manchester City forward Erling Haaland.
His former club Red Bull Salzburg, along with Liverpool FC, have also congratulated him on what rounds up a truly fascinating week for him.

It was reported by Origo that the pair had been seeing each other for almost a year now and were best buddies since a long time even as long back as their childhood when they were kids, being born in the same city of Székesfehérvár in Hungary.
But, it was only in July following Hungary’s exit at the Euros 2024 is that the couple made their relationship official in the public domain.
Both of them made this official on their social media handles as Dominik looked to recoup and recharge his batteries following his tough exit from the Euros at the Amalfi Coast in Italy.

But, the romantic endeavors of the Liverpool man were a bit tricky to say the least, before this point. Just after few weeks he signed for Liverpool last season, Dominik parted ways with his previous partner Fanni Gecsek.
Fanni who also from Hungary, is an athlete like her ex-boyfriend in the realm of Tennis and is associated with ITF (International Tennis Federation).
The pair broke up last year around September, after which all the social media posts that couple shared have been deleted on their respective accounts. His agent, Mátyás Esterházy, also confirmed this to Sportal, that the pair had broken up and at this point of time it is best to give them their utmost privacy.
Fanni was also in the news amongst Chelsea and Liverpool fans when she liked an Instagram post which was highlighting Romeo Lavia’s move to Chelsea as a ‘failure’, when the ex-city midfielder chose the London outfit over Liverpool who held strong interest in the Belgian.
The post stated “Romeo Lavia can’t even make the bench for this Chelsea side. Might not have been the greatest career choice”. This was in lieu of Lavia’s injury struggles and inability to start for Chelsea for months in spite his move to Chelsea last summer transfer window.
Many Liverpool fans were backing and in awe of Gecsek at that point of time for taking such shots at the Chelsea man after he preferred the London club over the scousers, last window. Now, we guess that they will be rooting the same way for Dominik’s newly engaged wife!
However, but what truly matters in the end is that the Liverpool maestro gets a happy ending to his romantic endeavors after a tough time, last year.
