Former Panathinaikos defender George Baldock was celebrated in a touching manner in Chelsea’s 4-1 win over the Greek side in the UEFA Europa League.
Baldock passed away earlier this October, being found deceased in the pool of his house.
Since then, tributes have poured in from all over. Chelsea decided to make their own tribute before the match. The entire team posed for a picture with captain Enzo Fernandez holding up Baldock’s jersey.
Pedro Neto’s expression here, however, somewhat ruins it.
The picture is supposed to be a somber one and everyone else has a serious expression. He somehow missed the memo and can be seen smiling like Baldock’s a new Chelsea signing.
