The No-Phone Rule Mohamed Salah Has Brought to Liverpool Recently

Liverpool, Mohamed Salah

Mohamad Salah, the Egyptian king is one of Liverpool’s senior-most player and a legend of the club, of course.

We’ve seen Mo Salah and a few others enjoy their time off at the Kirkby coffee shop, unwinding and having a laugh.

But the veteran has introduced a rule that is surely set to increase the bonding amongst players.

Curtis Jones spoke about this new rule in a video on Liverpool’s Youtube channel.

The little group of theirs, comprising of Dominik Szoboszlai, Kostas Tsimikas, Mo Salah and Curtis Jones- now cannot have their phones or use them at the coffee table.

“We’ve now got this little thing where we’re not allowed on our phones when we’re there having coffee. It’s Mo who’s brought in the rule.” said Jones.

“If we’re inside there and I’m on the phone, Mo will tell Dom ‘will you text him and tell him that we’re here and we want to have a conversation with him”

Well that’s Mo’s politeness coming through as he basically wants to let the young guns know that team bonding is priority.

The Reds face a crucial clash against Arsenal on Sunday, with a chance to extend their lead over the London club. Salah, whose contract is nearing its end, remains an integral part of the squad.
