The Unusual Astrology Question That Left Joao Felix Surprised

The Unusual Astrology Question That Left Joao Felix Surprised

When you’re João Felix, you’re prepared for questions about goals, assists, and maybe even the occasional wardrobe choice. But the UEFA Conference League press conference this week took a cosmic twist when the Chelsea forward was hit with a real curveball: “What’s your star sign?”

Looking like someone who’d just been told VAR was taking his goals away, João paused, visibly taken aback. Had he missed a memo? Are star signs the new stats? Are players now being scouted by their birth charts? Felix, the quick-footed, smooth finisher, was genuinely blindsided—and X had a field day with it.

Felix’s bemusing Conference League Press Conference

Chelsea’s best moment this week was not their win over Panathinaikos last night; it was their pre-match press conference prior to the game. Just before the press conference was about to end, one certain journalist asked Felix whether being a “Scorpio” helps him achieve his targets and also his objectives for this season.

To this, the Chelsea star was left perplexed and replied, “I think it’s the first time in a press conference I’ve been asked about my star sign, so that’s kind of weird. I don’t understand a lot about that.”

Twitter agrees, Joao. We agree, too. Fans were quick enough this time as well to call out modern-day journalism for asking questions that even an 8-year-old child would not. Some even saw the fun side of it, funnily annoyed and questioning the link between Zodiac signs and football.

Fighting for His Place: The Scorpio Way

Competing with Chelsea’s red-hot talent, like Cole Palmer in the No. 10 role, hasn’t deterred Felix from aiming to secure his spot under new head coach Enzo Maresca. The two had a conversation before he re-signed, and Felix was drawn to Maresca’s philosophy. “I like the way he thinks about football, the way he plays,” Felix said in the pre-match press conference. “I knew the competition would be hard, but I’m used to hard work. I know what I’m able to do and how I can help the team. It’s just a matter of time.”

His next shot came in the upcoming UEFA Conference League clash against Panathinaikos in Athens, where he scored a brace, marking only his third start since rejoining Chelsea. Although he’s had limited appearances, Felix remains resolute, saying, “I know my value. I trust in me more than anyone. One day, I will break through” in the pre-match press conference this week.

And so, with the relentless spirit of a true Scorpio (and maybe a dash of cosmic confidence), João Felix is doubling down on his Chelsea comeback. Whether it’s the stars aligning or sheer hard work, he’s promising Blues fans one thing: he’ll keep battling until he’s a Stamford Bridge regular. So, while some players look for signs from their coaches, Felix is ready to let the stars—and his ambition—do the talking. Here’s hoping his cosmic commitment finally translates into some serious Premier League minutes, because Chelsea could use all the star power they can get!
