Real Madrid’s 0-4 loss to Barcelona triggered a range of emotions from the Santiago Bernabeu faithful, who were furious and bewildered by what they witnessed.
Football YouTuber Thogden, who somehow bought a ticket in the same section as the famous ‘White Wall’ Real Madrid fan group, captured the anger of the crowd perfectly in his El Clasico vlog.
After Robert Lewandowski scored his second goal in the 56th minute, Thogden’s clip captured just how angry the Real Madrid fans became.
The video shows the Los Blancos supporters hurling abuses (in Spanish) at the Barcelona players and multiple people showing them the middle finger.
Thogden tries to do some ‘policing’ at this point and tries to relax the tensions.
He tells the fans ‘just calm down, it’s football’ to get them to sit back down.
Thogden does this in spite of knowing the El Clasico being arguably the biggest derby in world football and the sheer hatred the two sets of supporters share against the rival teams.
Thogden did this to probably get more attention and make himself look ‘cool’, but this entire interaction comes off as cringe-worthy.
The Real Madrid fans, of course, did not calm down as Barcelona scored two more and some racist comments were also hurled at Lamine Yamal after his goal.
