How Much Salary Does Alexander Isak Earn Weekly? A Look at His Net Worth and Cars

Alexander Isak, Newcastle United

Alexander Isak has established himself as one of the best players in the Premier League this season with his heroics for Newcastle United. In a time when high-priced forwards like Rasmus Hojlund and Darwin Nunez are struggling to impress, the Swedish forward has maintained impressive consistency to terrorize defenders in the division.

The 25-year-old is currently joint-third in the Premier League Golden Boot rankings with 13 goals in 18 appearances. That includes crucial goals against the likes of Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur. Despite being one of the top-performing players in the Premier League, Isak doesn’t really rank among the highest-paid ones.

Isak joined Newcastle United from Real Sociedad for a whopping £63 million back in 2022, signing a six-year contract with them. In his final year with the Basque-based club, Isak was estimated to earn a salary of well under £1 million and received only around £17,000-a-week wages at the club. So it’s not a surprise that he didn’t even flinch over the prospect of leaving them to join the Premier League heavyweights.

The Magpies were also able to entice with him with a pretty mouth-watering contract offer as compared to what he received earlier in his career. Isak received a six-year contract offer that guaranteed him to take home a neat £6.2 million per year. That comes down to around £120,000-a-week, with his agent Vlado L doing a decent job at getting his client a pretty good salary.

The Swedish forward was given a huge six-times increase to his salary, and has remained on those wages through his impressive career with the Premier League side. Interestingly, despite arguably being Newcastle United’s best player over the last few years, Isak still doesn’t rank among their highest-paid players. The likes of Bruno Guimaraes (£8.3 million per year), Joelinton (£7.8 million), Anthony Gordon (£7.8 million) and even Lloyd Kelly (£7.8 million) reportedly receive higher wages than him.

Despite being relatively underpaid by Newcastle (considering his impact and quality), Isak is in love with his role at the club and doesn’t see himself leaving them anytime soon. Ahead of the 2024/25 season, he professed his adoration for the Magpies and stated: “I am enjoying myself at Newcastle, and I had the best season in my career — that should not be underestimated. I love everything about the club; the fans, and the city.”

Apart from what he receives from Newcastle, Isak’s impressive rise in football has seen him tie up with some lucrative brand deals too. The Swedish forward has a boot deal with Adidas and the brand even launched his own signature boots (Adidas Nemeziz Alexander Isak) for him. Isak also has a sponsorship deal with Cruyff Football.

The Swedish forward has a liking for luxury cars, like many prominent footballers, and has some expensive vehicles in his possession. Isak likes to drive around a Rolls Royce around England, while he also has an Audi RS6. He also has an UrbanAutomatic G Wagon as the bulky SUV whenever he needs it to get to places. One of his expensive cars were even stolen in a burglary in his home last year.

Isak might not come up as among the richest footballers in the Premier League, but he’s been able to rack up decent career earnings. He has earned over £18 million through career wages itself as a professional footballer, during his stints at AIK, Borussia Dortmund, Real Sociedad and Newcastle United. The 25-year-old currently has an estimated net worth of just over £19 million, something that is likely to spike upwards in the near future. He is already reportedly valued at £150 million by the Magpies, which has mostly been done to ward off interest from other clubs.

Isak might not be the richest Swedish football of all time (that is still held by Zlatan Ibrahimovic), but if his agent Vlado is able to manage his client well, then the Newcastle United man’s net worth can easily skyrocket to triple its current value in a few years time.
