Arsenal’s Leaked 25/26 Kit Could Be an All-Timer According To Fans

Arsenal, Football Kits

Since Arsenal partnered with Adidas in 2019 the club has consistently delivered some of the most stylish and well-received kits in football. From the iconic bruised-banana revival for the 19/20 away kit to the sleek black and gold 22/23 third kit, Adidas has successfully included modern aesthetics while blending some iconic kits of the past.

The latest addition to Arsenal’s growing catalog of standout kits appears to be the 2025/26 third kit, recently leaked by Opaleak and the design is being hailed as a potential all-timer by fans on social media.

The leaked Arsenal 25/26 third kit features a classic polo collar, a stylistic choice that adds a retro touch. Both the collar and sleeve cuffs are detailed with maroon and gold stripes, using the gold from the Gunners’s logo. It features a thick maroon base striper with two thinner golden-yellow pinstripes above it.

The classic three stripes running across the shoulder are also in the dark-red/maroon colour giving the kit a neat look.

The most striking feature is the subtle jacquard fabric pattern woven into the shirt, adding depth and texture without overpowering the design. It gives the kit an almost royal and majestic look, making it look less like a football kit but rather something you’d see out and about on the streets of London.

The club crest and sponsors logo are the same maroon colour as the accents. Another interesting design detail is that the kit is tipped to be part of the Originals collections, which means the leaks have the Adidas Trefoil logo instead of the three stripes.

The leaked design has sparked discussions among fans and online kit designers, many of whom have drawn comparisons to Arsenal’s 2007-09 third and away kit. That kit, produced by Nike, also featured a white base but leaned more heavily into the maroon tones. It also has a simple base design in white with thin pinstriped alternating patterns. The 07-09 kits had more yellow than gold accents.

Reportedly set or an official release in August or September 2024, this kit is expected to be one of the standout designs of the season. And Adidas might have demonstrated it’s ability to merge Arsenal’s heritage with sleek modern touches.

As with any leak, the fan reactions help as a metric to gauge how the kit will be perceived when launched, and the reactions are almost all positive. One fan remarked, “This might be my favourite kit yet. Wow.” while another user added, “Good work adidas, this is fire,” tagging the Adidas account as well.

A football shirt collection outfit also added their views on the kit, “Some nice detailing on the kit,” referencing to the pattern.

Although longtime Arsenal fans did chime in with their feelings on a white kit, “I hope this white brings the wins the other one didn’t,” said one user while another brought up the curse as well, “Cursed white Jersey,” and “Nahhhhhhhh I don’t want this We never do well in white,” were the reactions.

Some fans also critiqued the addition of the collar, “Delete the collar,” said one fan on X while more users added, “Not a fan of the collar, otherwise it’s good,” and “Please tell me the collar is fake.”
