Arsenal fans received a gutting blow to their Premier League title hopes as West Ham United ousted them at the Emirates Stadium. In a frustrating game for the Gunners, Jarrod Bowen’s first-half goal was enough to defeat Arsenal – who were made to rue the unavailability of a natural centre-forward.
An Arsenal supporter who was left raging after the defeat was popular AFTV regular Turkish. He’s been a presenter for the popular fan channel since 2021, being involved in match watchalongs, podcasts and often giving his opinions on the matters around the club. The YouTuber also has his own personal channel (wih over 100,000 subscribers) and hosts the Bix 6ix show, which has over 82,000 subscribers on YouTube.
After the game, Turkish criticized his side’s and called out their problems. He stated: “We have deeper problems than just attack. Our midfield is struggling creativity, the balance hasn’t been there this season and Martin Odegaard’s been a part of that. But the attack is of course the focus as it was the first poor recruitment in the summer.
“We have to deal with a striker this summer, a winger, potentially a n umber 10 this summer and another midfielder if Thomas Partey and Jorginho are gone. I’m not even thinking of the end of this season, but if we’ll be ready for the start of the next season. The club have taken their foot off the gas for three windows now, not delivered and here we are now.”
After his fiery rant on the management, Turkish started going viral on X (Twitter) for the wrong reasons. He has over 34,000 followers on his X account, but a picture went viral on the platform showing him in a group picture with the Arsenal hierarchy.

In the picture, he can be seen beside Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta and co-owner Josh Kroenke, owner Stan Kroenke, former sporting director Edu Gaspar and executive vice-chairman Tim Lewis.
This caused Turkish to earn some backlash from Arsenal fans. That is because he’s always been very anti-Kroenke with his criticism of how they’ve managed the club and been inactive in the transfer windows. Some even called him as ‘two faced’ for celebrating with the owners while criticizing them on the AFTV shows.
Well, it turns out that this entire ‘meet-up’ has been fabricated. That is because this is a photoshopped image where Turkish’s body has just been inserted. The original picture for this was actually taken by another AFTV present, Cecil Jee Thomas. Cecil, who often covers matches as a presenter for the channel, was able to meet up with Arteta and the Arsenal ownership hierarchy in July, 2023 during their pre-season tour of the USA.

He even posted this picture on July 9 (2023). Some fans just edited Turkish’s appearance by removing Cecil’s body and putting him in his place. Turkish also called out those trying to frame him by commenting: “Wow there are some fools out there, well done idiots! Funny though, big up No Context.”
Turkish has come a long way in earning his reputation as a content craetove. Before his work with AFTV, he used to work as a deployment manager for Royal Mail UK – a British postal service and courier company. Before that, he even worked for Ladbrokes in a customer service roel.
Due to his reputation, he has met up and interacted with many prominent football personalities. He met up with Arsenal legend Sol Campbell earlier this season, as well as with David Seaman. As his creator name suggests, he is of Turkish-Irish ancestry.
The AFTV presenter has strictly been a major critici of the Kroenke’s ownership. He even made a post of ‘F*** the Kroenke’s’ after the Gunners’ 5-1 thrashing of Manchester City.
Turkish has a love-hate relation with Mikel Arteta. After Arsenal’s 1-0 win against Manchester United at Old Trafford in the 2023/25 season, he professed his admiration for Arteta by saying: “Be it in seven days or 12 months, a major trophy is coming tot eh Emirates and it’s about time it happened. Perfect if it happens in seven days, if it happens we’ll love and we will be there, if it doesn’t we know we are there again next season.
“Most goals scored, least conceded, for the majority of this season we’ve been the best team. If you take away Pep’s Man City for the last two years, Arteta would’ve won the league with 85 points last year and wins the league this season with 89 points. No one would be doubting him like they try and do, he’s brought us to the top table. It makes ore sense listening to someone who doubted him. I doubted him, I’m sorry for doubting him.”
However, Turkish slammed Arteta as a ‘liar’ after Arsenal’s elimination from the 2024/25 FA Cup in January to Manchester United. He repeatedly slammed him as a ‘liar’ for claiming that the Kroenke’s are the best owners he worked for and that his side doesn’t need a new forward. Considering how consistently critical Turkish is towards Kroenkes, it’s unlikely that they’d want to meet and snap pictures with him anytime soon.
