Look: Norwich City Fan Proposes at Half-Time, Crowd Channels Classic Banter

Championship, Football Chants, Norwich City

The beautiful game is majorly known for the level of skill and nail-biting tension it brings.

Yesterday’s Championship clash between Norwich City and West Bromwich Albion at Carrow Road delivered all of that, resulting in a dramatic last-gasp winner for the home side.

But even before Josh Sargent’s composed finish sent the Norwich faithful into raptures, the stadium witnessed a different kind of unforgettable moment – one of romance, humour, and the unique charm of British football culture.

During the halftime break, as the players retreated to the dressing rooms and the crowd mingled, a Norwich City supporter decided to seize the moment.

He got down on one knee to propose to his girlfriend. As the confused crowd looked on, she joyfully accepted, saying the magical word: “Yes!”

However, this being a UK football match, this romantic scene soon took a different turn courtesy of classic British humour.

It was perhaps the Baggies supporters at the away end who perfectly timed a witty response to the romantic occasion, chanting: “You don’t know what you’re doing!”
