Twitter Erupts as Nico O’Reilly Supplies 2 Assists with 10 Touches

Manchester City secured their familiar spot in the FA Cup semi-finals with a hard-fought 2-1 win against Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium.

While the match had its tense moments, including a missed Haaland penalty and an early Bournemouth goal, the name on everyone’s lips after the final whistle was that of City’s young substitute, Nico O’Reilly.

Introduced at halftime with City trailing 1-0, O’Reilly’s impact was nothing short of sensational.

After Haaland’s penalty miss in the first half, Bournemouth capitalized, with Evanilson tapping in from close range.

Pep Guardiola was frustrated but then came his halftime substitution of Man City number 75 Nico O’Reilly.

Just four minutes into the second half, the 20-year-old delivered a perfectly weighted pass for Haaland to finally break his duck and level the score.

O’Reilly stepped up once again in the 63rd minute with another sublime assist. This time laying the ball on a platter for Marmoush, who made no mistake in slotting past Kepa to secure City’s lead.

That was his 10th touch of the game. Overall, the English midfielder had 30 Touches, 10 Accurate Passes, 4 Recoveries, 3 Duels Won, 2 Tackles and 2 Clearances.
