Spurs took a narrow first leg lead as they defeated Chelsea by a solitary goal thanks to a well taken penalty by Harry Kane.
Chelsea were perhaps the better side by a narrow margin as the Blues enjoyed more of the ball and piled much pressure on Spurs who managed to hold on to a one-goal lead.
There was a bit of a fracas between Tottenham players and Chelsea’s Antonio Rudiger at full time. Danny Rose was in the middle of a heated moment with Chelsea’s Antonio Rüdiger after the match as the German looked to be messing around with Rose, who was having none of it.
Several Spurs players intervened as they separated the two players.
