Brazilians have always been the real showmen of football. Creating magical moments out of thin air is second nature to them.
When you get to know that a player is from Brazil you naturally expect tricks, flicks and flare, all the things that make you sit on the edge of your seat. Last night Bernard Duarte made a filthy pass in the Everton v Arsenal match that was nothing short of magic.
Here are some reactions to the pass made by the Brazilian :
Brilliant flick by Bernard in a one-two with Gomes but Sokratis goes to ground with minimal contact to derail the move #EFC #AFC

Andre Gomes played the ball into Bernard’s path who was being marked by Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Bernard followed it up by producing a magical moment by turning around and flicking the ball back into the path of the former Barcelona man.
It is a shame that the ball did not make its way to Gomes to complete the one-two.
It still was a magical moment that not only bamboozled Maitland-Niles but also resulted in some pain for Sokratis, who had to run to his limits to intercept the ball before being fouled by Gomes.
With only two goals and 3 assists in all competitions, Bernard has not been very productive for Everton this season but with magical moments like these, the former Shakhtar Donetsk man can surely amass a cult following for himself.
Everton won 1-0 thanks to Phil Jagielka scoring the only goal of the match and becoming the oldest player to score a goal in the Premier League this season.
The goal dented Arsenal’s top 4 aspirations as their poor away form continued. With 4 away games out of the remaining 6, the Gunners will have to improve their away form to hold onto the 4th position.
Arsenal will play Watford away next in the premier league while Everton play the relegated Fulham side, away at Craven Cottage.
