Chelsea have released their new home kit for the 2019/20 season, with official promotion images on their social media accounts, starring Eden Hazard, Cesár Azpilicueta and Ethan Ampadu wearing the stunning new design.
Similar to last couple of seasons, it is a ‘rush blue’ with the trademark white Nike swoosh on it. The biggest change, however, is a classy darker blue graphic of the Stamford Bridge on the front, back and sides of the shirt, which have received mixed reactions from the Chelsea faithful.

But the takeaway Chelsea fans are hoping for from all of this is that Eden Hazard will continue to be at the club next season. The 28-year-old Belgian has been their best player ever since he made the move to the London outfit, and the fans have been rightly worried with the possibility of not seeing him in Chelsea colours after this season.
Hazard has been heavily rumored to leave Chelsea at the end of the ongoing season and ply his trade wearing the whites of Real Madrid.
Hazard is also Chelsea’s top scorer this term with 16 goals and 13 assists in 31 Premier League games. One of the most technically gifted players of his generation, the Belgian has the ability to decide entire games on his own.
And with this kit release, Chelsea might have just reaffirmed the fact that their crown jewel won’t be leaving this summer.
The West London outfit are currently sitting in fourth, two points away from fifth placed Arsenal, and are hoping to tighten their grip on a Champions League spot by either winning their last two games, which will move them up to third depending on current holders Tottenham’s performances, or winning the Europa League.
Chelsea face Eintracht Frankfurt in the semi final of the competition on Friday, with a CL spot the ultimate goal to play for.
