The 20-year-old central defender first caught attention when he started alongside Toby Alderweireld against Juventus in a pre-season friendly, managing to keep footballing royalty Cristiano Ronaldo relatively quiet. However, he has since struggled to make his way into the first team setup.
The England U-20 international is yet to feature in the league for Spurs and it would be interesting to see what role the Portuguese mastermind assigns him through the course of the season.
