After failing to register a win in his first two games in charge, Freddie Ljungberg seems to have finally got Arsenal clicking during the 3-1 win over West Ham yesterday.
While the Gunners were up to their old shenanigans during the build-up to West Ham’s opener, the team showed great resilience to come back and see the win through courtesy of 9 minute goal glut following the restart.
One of the greatest criticisms faced by the club during Unai Emery’s reign was a perceived unhappiness within the squad but such fears seem to be partially quelled during the win with many of their big stars playing with a big smile for large parts of the game.
Mesut Ozil’s enthusiasm especially caught the eye with the German often cutting a disgruntled figure during Emery’s reign and looked in jubilant mood against the Hammers.
The 31-year-old seemed to to be in an absolutely whimsical mood after Aubameyang’s goal and a clip showing his hilarious moves in the background has been well received by fans on Twitter.
