SPFL have finally announced their decision to conclude the Scottish Premiership season.
The standings have been determined by points per game in league matches played to March 13 by each club.
Although some controversies marred the initial proposal, the SPFL decided to go through with it after a board meeting held recently.
The Hoops, however, wouldn’t mind one bit as they are crowned the Scottish champions for the 9th time in succession.
Neil Lennon’s side opened a 13-point gap over their long-standing rivals Rangers before the suspension of the season amid the pandemic.
Lennon, who took charge in 2019 for his second spell at the club, stated with respect to the title “a momentous day for the club.”
With the 51st league title in hand, the Celtic faithful are in celebration mood.
Although there won’t be any widespread public celebrations for obvious reasons, fans found a unique way to express their jubilation.
