The absence of football for almost two months has bothered a lot of us.
Thankfully for the fans, things are indeed starting to settle down as Premier League clubs have now resumed training ahead of a possible return to action in June.
Although not quite the way we’re used to, having football back in our lives will help the fans breathe a sigh of relief.
For most part, players share the same sentiments; however, after spending such a long time away from the field, it is going to be a tough task for them to be able to reach match-fitness.
Now, cyber training sessions for players did exist during the lockdown, but it’s not an efficient substitute for conventional training methods.
Consequently, doubts emerge in the minds of fans and the managers about whether their players would be able to step up to the task.
However, recent footage from Liverpool‘s training ground shows things are going pretty well for Jurgen Klopp’s men.
Ox being pure class today
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has had a stroke of bad luck with injuries in his career, and this season is no different.
The 26-year-old saw his season limited to 21 appearances and just three goals before the break in football.
The man himself is determined to get back on track as seen in the 16-second long clip released by the official Liverpool Twitter account.
Chamberlain can be seen going full throttle in one of the drills.
The exquisite nature of the 26-year-old’s touches and passes feels like he’s never been away –
