Manchester United have picked up right from where they left off before COVID-19 enforced a halt on global footballing action.
The results along with the performances have filled fans with hope and positivity that was common under Sir Alex.
Confidence has returned to Old Trafford as players are playing freely and expressing themselves on the field again.
Attacking players such as Bruno Fernandes, Martial, Pogba, Rashford and Greenwood have all been hailed for their performances during this unbeaten run.
One player whose importance seems to have gone unnoticed is Nemanja Matic.
He looks like his old self acting as the perfect defensive shield for the back 4 while the Bruno-Pogba partnership runs the show.
Not only is he back at his defensive best, he has improved his offensive contribution as well.
The hierarchy at United feels the same as the club rewarded the Serbian with an extension on his current contract.
Matic was suited and booted for the occasion and bumped into David de Gea in the parking lot before the announcement.
What followed after just shows the confidence among Man United players these days –
Top class, eh? @NemanjaMatic 😎 pic.twitter.com/hPkybA7f8B

While most of the conversation is in a foreign language, De Gea can be heard calling Matic ‘top class’; probably referring to the fantastic attire worn by the Serbian.
To this Matic casually replies ‘normal, United, normal’; indicating that this the normal level required of players both on and off the pitch at Manchester United.
