Erling Haaland’s cousin has Twitter shook with his goalscoring exploits in Norway

Erling Braut Haaland has been devastating defenders ever since he broke into the global football scene. The 20 year-old forward’s goal scoring numbers are extraordinary for his age, and his incredible potential promises to make him one of the best players in the world at his prime.

The son of Alfie Haaland, the Norwegian has made a reputation for himself for being one of the most clinical forwards there is in world football at the moment. If one deadly striker hailing from the Haaland lineage was not enough, the world has got itself another one in his very own cousin.

Albert Braut Tjaland is a 17-year-old Norwegian striker, whose claim to fame is an extraordinary scoring record for his tender age, and for being Erling Haaland’s cousin. Tjaland has scored a whopping tally of 64 goals in 37 games for Norwegian outfit Molde – even though all of them have come while playing for the different youth ranks of the club.

Tjaland’s incredible numbers have shocked the football fraternity on Twitter, as his goalscoring ability and knack to find the goal so very often seems to be quite precocious at his age – reminding the football world of a certain Erling Haaland who also made a name for himself with incredible numbers at Molde.

Haaland carried his exploits to Red Bull Salzburg, and his goals in the Champions League qualifiers and the group stage earned him a ticket to Borussia Dortmund – one of the top clubs in Germany and in the world.

If Tjaland keeps up with his goal-scoring exploits, it would not be long before he attracts attention from some of the biggest clubs in Europe – and goes on to replicate Haaland’s heroics – or maybe even do a little better than his highly rated cousin.
