Harry Kane took full advantage of Everton’s costly mistakes at the back as Tottenham Hotspur drew 2-2 at Goodison Park.
The centre-back duo of Michael Keane and Mason Holgate produced horrible defensive errors on either side of Gylfi Sigurdsson’s brace as it turned to be another night of lost causes for both sides.
The Icelandic midfielder had levelled the scoreline with a deftly taken penalty after Kane put Spurs ahead on the 27th minute. Sigurdsson was at it again with a superb left-footed volley in the second half as the Toffees looked set for all 3 points at home.
It wasn’t to be as Kane matched Sigurdsson’s quality with a ferocious volley of his own to make it 2-2 six minutes later.
Jose Mourinho’s side churned out another mediocre performance as Spurs were very lucky to get a point out of that game. Though, their luck ran out in a miserable fashion as their talisman Harry Kane limped off the ground after twisting his right ankle towards the end of the game.
